What areas do you serve?
We serve Hilton Head, Bluffton, Beaufort, Jasper, Ridgeland, St. Helena, Port Royal, Okatie, Lady's Island, Charleston, Savannah, and surrounding Lowcountry & Coastal Empire communities. Reach out to confirm availability at your specific address.
What sanitation services does Savage Sanitation offer?
We offer waste management solutions including residential trash pickup, front-load dumpsters for commercial and multi-family properties, 15, 20, and 30-yard roll-off dumpster rentals, short-term rental property collection, and concierge back-door waste service. We do not provide labor or property clean-out services — we drop off dumpsters and handle the hauling once you fill them. Whatever your disposal needs, we have a plan built for it.
Do you clean out houses and haul the contents away?
No — we are not a property clean-out or junk-hauling company. We deliver roll-off dumpsters for you to fill, and we haul away the contents once you're done. If you need full-service labor to remove items from your home, you'll need a separate junk removal company. We can absolutely drop off a dumpster to make that process easier.
How is residential trash pickup priced?
Residential pickup is available once or twice per week with straightforward, competitive pricing for homeowners, rental properties, and HOA communities. Request a free quote and we'll match you to the right plan.
Can I set up recurring service?
Yes. We offer recurring weekly and twice-weekly pickup services, for rental and vacation properties. We are currently accepting new customers.
What time must trash be out?
For curbside service, please have your bins out the night before your scheduled pickup to ensure you aren't missed. For concierge back-door service, all trash must be out by 7am on your scheduled pickup day.
What is your holiday schedule?
For 2026, we are only closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. If your pickup falls on one of these holidays, the schedule will slide by one day.
How do I pay my bill?
We accept checks, ACH payments, and credit/debit cards (please note there is a 3.99% surcharge for card payments). If you would like to set up auto-pay, please contact us directly to get that started.
What if I miss my pickup?
If you miss your window, give us a call. We usually don't make you wait until the following week, and we do not charge a return-trip fee. However, we may not be able to return if you call later than the afternoon prior to the pickup.
What is "Concierge" back-door pickup?
Our concierge service means we come directly to your service yard or back door, with no curb required and no hassle. This premium service is designed for gated communities, Hilton Head villas, and upscale rental properties where aesthetics and convenience are a priority.
Do you take bulk items?
Yes. We accept bulk items like sofas or mattresses. Please contact us directly with a picture of the item; we will then provide you with a price quote and a scheduled pickup day.
Do you offer recycling services?
Yes, we provide trash and recycling collection services, which are especially popular for our rental property clients. Please contact us to discuss adding recycling to your residential or commercial plan.
How does roll-off dumpster delivery work?
We deliver your roll-off dumpster directly to your site on your schedule. Choose from 15, 20, or 30-yard containers — ideal for construction, small remodels, or large property clear-outs. Simply contact us to book your drop-off date.
What items are strictly prohibited?
Our containers are for construction debris only. We cannot accept batteries or anything with a power cord. If you are disposing of paint, it must be completely dried before being placed in the dumpster.
Are there additional fees for dumpsters?
Our pricing is fully transparent: rental duration, debris type, and weight overages are the only variables. There is a surcharge if the weight exceeds the included tonnage, but we ensure there are no hidden surprises in your quote.
